Help with Translation!?

[edit]

Can you help translate this for me to swedish? Many thanks in advance!

About half of the economically active population is employed in agriculture. Arable land amounts to only one-fourth of the total land area, yet the country meets nearly all its food needs from domestic production. In the mid-1970s, moreover, Albania became selfsufficient in bread grains. Main crops are wheat, corn (maize), sugar beets, cotton, sunflower seeds, tobacco, potatoes, and fruits. Major livestock are sheep, goats, cattle, and pigs.

User:Qvvx

[edit]

Hello, A new user User:Qvvx (Q v v x) was recently created, which may cause a bit of confusion with your (old?) account Qwx (Q w x). However, that user seems not to have a bad-faith intention. In any case, I'm letting you know here. -- Curps 11:17, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know. qwm is actually older; I created qwx once when I couldn't remember the password for the qwm account, and the qwm123 account when I forgot that one too. I've since managed to recall both passwords, and I've also let Wikipedia know my email, in case I forget again. qwm 16:26, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Udo Kier

[edit]

Thanks for the citations on the Udo Kier article. I was just being cautious, because being labelled with a certain sexual orientation can be sort of smearing to people. Aaрон Кинни (t) 06:05, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vegan userbox

[edit]

Hello. I noticed you recently recreated the template Template:User vegan. However, the template was never deleted; rather, it was moved to [[User:Michael Slone/Userbox/User vegan]] per the German userbox solution. To avoid duplication of effort, please consider editing that userbox instead of the newly-created one. (If you agree, you may wish to request deletion of the new object.) Michael Slone (talk) 18:06, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, alright. I'll just figure out how to nominate it first then. :) qwm 09:29, 12 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The vegan userbox mentioned above has since been moved to User:Kilo-Lima/Vegan. Michael Slone (talk) 19:20, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of category from your userpage

[edit]

Hi. In enacting consensus from User categories for discussion, I have removed the category Category:Wikipedians interested in books from your userpage. It was determined in that deletion debate that this category should be depopulated of individuals, but kept as a parent category. If you wish to display a category reflecting your interest in books, please consider one of the specific sub-categories under its umbrella. Thanks, and please excuse the necessary editing of your user page! ----Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:52, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Xvid logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Xvid logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ViperSnake151  Talk  02:41, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Qwm! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 6 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Sabrina Ferilli - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Orphaned non-free image File:Xvid logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Xvid logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore will not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used once again.
  • If you recieved this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to somewhere on your talk page.

Thank you. DASHBot (talk) 14:01, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Nano text editor.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
